A Question About Customer Service

Posted by: Admin

THis is an actual reply to a question about our customer service:

Hi XXXX- I am glad you asked about the BBB rating. We actually have had only one complaint in over 10 years in business. The second complaint you see listed was meant for a website with a similar name. The customer contacted the BBB and tried to straighten it out, but the listing was caught in red tape and went unresolved. She was able to post a complaint against the correct company, but the listing was never removed from our record.

We have hundreds of testimonials from happy customers who feel we have gone above and beyond for them. I actually took a call tonight from a very satisfied customer who made a point of telling me she has never dealt with a company who had such good follow up.

As for the rug you will be ordering, I can tell you that you are guaranteed to have it replaced at no cost to you if it is damaged or defective in any way. The rug is backed by a 1 year manufacturer warranty, and if it is beyond that point, we will still work on your behalf to make sure you are a satisfied customer.

I know Audrey is currently working on a replacement for a braided rug that was ordered over a year ago. She had the rug replaced at no cost to the customer, and as you might expect, they were thrilled.

We really do take tremendous pride in our team. Where shopping online is wonderful for business, it also means you need to be better than every other rug company in the nation. We feel our customer service is what separates us from our competitors. Our customers are constantly providing positive feedback. Here is an email excerpt from earlier:

"Michelle, My pad arrived on Wednesday. Thanks again you've been the best customer service representative that I have ever encountered. Have a wonderful day

Michael"

I will also point out that we ship everything direct from the manufacturer. This guaranties that you are receiving first quality items. Some companies ship out their returns. This means you could end up with a rug that was defective, or possible a rug from a home with smoke or animals. Naturally this would be an issue for someone with allergies. We only sell first quality rugs. Even the closeouts come from the manufacturer. I hope that I have reassured you, but if have any additional questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to call us.

GaGa for Going Green

Posted by: Admin

Is everyone on the green kick or what???  Going green is a wonderful and necessary change, but at least in the area rug industry, going green is a huge marketing effort backed up by little substance.  For instance, on a competitor's website they advertise " Eco- Friendly Rugs".  In this category are all the wool rugs, which make up 30-50% of all area rugs sold today.  So essentially anything made of wool is eco-friendly??  Really!  I suppose if you broaden the scope of the word 'green' into meaning not made of a petroleum based product, then fine.  But the truth is that most of these rugs are made with chemical dyes in large factories that use electricity, have a carbon output, and are not reducing their carbon footprint anytime soon.

Some brands offer a green label for recycled fibers, such as Shaw or Couristan.  Please visit http://RugsDoneRight.com to shop these rugs today!
